Metal Gear Solid 4 Gets Release Date

It looks like the 1st killer app for the PS3 is finally getting a release date ... all be it about six months behind schedule. The game is set to hit stores June 12. A summer release is strange for a AAA game ... but probably a really smart move as we’ve seen in the past couple of years. Not only that ... but at the same time ... Sony is releasing a PS3 bundle that includes MGS4 and a Duelshock 3 controller.
This is the game that makes me wish that I had a Playstation 3 ... especially since they’ve adopted the RE4 “over the shoulder” approach.
If you were wondering where Metal Gear Solid: Online fits in here ... they will be releasing an MGS: Online starter pack on the same day ... (Whatever that means)
