Best Moments in Video Games: Diablo 2

Moving on in the best Moments in video games list we have a game that Chad, Eric, and myself really enjoyed. In fact we liked it so much that a couple of us have been weary to get into another MMO since then. I am of course talking about the free online PC perfection that is Diablo 2.
I know that Diablo 2 isn’t a real MMO in the true since of the word ... at least in the way that World of Warcraft or City of Heroes is. But it did offer an online community that fueled the fire for those like me to find all the rare loot I could and then possibly trade it for a stone of Jordan.
My favorite moments in Diablo 2 were the treasure runs. It was such a blast to go on a Mephisto or Baal run with a bunch of other people ... and then try to snipe the rare items that were dropped afterwards.
Chad and myself went on countless Mephisto runs in our days playing Diablo 2 ... and managed to snag some pretty good stuff. I think I ended my Diablo 2 career with a level 77 paladin and an amazing sword I got by trading some dude a stone of Jordan.

The baal expansion in Diablo was amazing, it was completely worth the $80 bucks total I spend on that game.
